There were 292 African American students enrolled in Tekoa Academy of Accelerated Studies STEM School District in the 2022-23 school year, 10.7% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Tekoa Academy of Accelerated Studies STEM School District welcomed 337 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, African American students comprised 86.6% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.
