Randy Weber files resolution to censure Jasmine Crockett over rhetoric

Randy Weber, a longstanding representative of Texas' 14th district in the U.S. Congress, has recently turned to Twitter to announce a legislative action. The sequence of tweets from Weber addresses his intention to hold a fellow congressperson accountable for her actions and statements.

On March 25, 2025, Randy Weber tweeted, " I plan to introduce a bill to censure Jasmine Crockett for her disgraceful and vile attacks against our Governor of Texas. This kind of rhetoric has no place in Congress." His post indicates disapproval of the communication style of Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett.

Later on the same day, Weber made another post stating, "Jasmine…words have meanings & actions have consequences. I look forward to introducing my resolution to censure you for your words and actions." Through this message, Weber reiterates his resolve to hold Crockett accountable for her speech and actions.

On March 26, 2025, Randy Weber declared, " I have officially FILED the censure resolution against Rep. Jasmine Crockett. She must be censured and held accountable for the venomous rhetoric she spews as a representative of the Democratic Party." This signifies the formal filing of the resolution to censure Rep. Jasmine Crockett.
