Randy Weber, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas's 14th district, communicated several messages on social media. His tweets addressed political endorsements, international relations, and voting rights.
On April 9, 2025, Weber expressed gratitude toward a group of fellow legislators by stating, "Thank you to these cosponsors! @RepBalderson @RepOgles @RepRyanZinke @RepBenCline @RepFranklin @RepWebster @RepTenney @RepBrianBabin @RepMaloyUtah @RepShreve @RepDaveTaylor @laurenboebert @RepBice". This tweet highlights Weber’s appreciation for the support of these Congressional members.
Later on the same day, Weber tweeted about international diplomacy by asserting that "After years of watching other countries take advantage of America, they're finally coming to the negotiating table — because they know the game has changed." He attributed this shift to former President Trump's policies, declaring, "President Trump puts America First, every single time. You can trust that he's fighting for the American people, and yes."
The following day, on April 10, 2025, Weber shared his perspective on voting rights stating, "Only American citizens should have the right to vote—no exceptions. If you can’t prove your citizenship, you shouldn’t be casting a ballot." Weber further mentioned that the House Republicans had passed the SAVE Act to enforce this belief.
Randy Weber has served in Congress since 2013, taking over from Ron Paul. Prior to his current role, Weber was a member of the Texas House of Representatives from 2009 to 2013. Born in Pearland, Texas in 1953, Weber resides in Friendswood and is a University of Houston–Clear Lake graduate.
