Tekoa Academy of Accelerated Studies STEM School Education: 337 students were enrolled in schools in 2022-23 school year

There were 337 students enrolled in Tekoa Academy of Accelerated Studies STEM School in the 2022-23 school year, 8.4% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 50.4% of them were boys, and 49.6% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were African American, representing 86.6% of the Tekoa Academy of Accelerated Studies STEM School total enrollment.

Tekoa Academy of Accelerated Studies STEM School roughly covers schools within Jefferson County with its main office in Port Arthur.

Among the four schools in Tekoa Academy of Accelerated Studies STEM School, Tekoa Academy of Accelerated Studies recorded the highest enrollment of 179 students in the 2022-23 school year.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
