The Lamar University Mary Morgan Moore Department of Music will present its spring flute ensemble concert on Monday, Feb. 6 at 7:30 pm in Rothwell Recital Hall located in the Jimmy Simmons Music Building on the Lamar University campus.
Students will be performing large and small chamber works by Bassingthwaighte, Cueto, Laszlo, Holst, Clarke, Pucihar, Coleman and Lecuona.
The Lamar Flute Ensemble will also have the honor of performing several of these works at the Texas Music Educators Association in San Antonio on Feb.10.
The performance is free and open to the public; no tickets or advanced reservations are required.
