How many white students were enrolled in Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD schools in 2022-23 school year?

There were 2,451 white students enrolled in Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 0.6% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD schools welcomed 3,340 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students comprised 73.4% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD roughly covers schools within Orange County and has a main office in Orange.

Among the six schools in Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD schools, Lit Cypr-Mrceville High School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 742 students.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
