Hardin County home prices fell in the second half of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2022 in Hardin County fell by $7,805 while total sales decreased by 22.7%.

From July through December of 2022, there were 102 homes sold, with a median sale price of $105,720 - a 6.9% decrease from the $113,525 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 132 homes sold in Hardin County in the second half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Hardin County for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,570 approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2022.
