Silsbee ISD issued the following announcement.
Silsbee High School junior Isabella Merritt competed in the UCA Southwest Regional Championship Mascot competition on December 9, 2020 representing Silsbee ISD as Tiger Jim. Merritt is the first mascot from Silsbee to compete in the event as she took the first place championship with her skit.
