ORANGEFIELD ISD: OISD Football Game Procedures

Orangefield ISD issued the following announcement.

 Spectator Expectations

·         Orangefield ISD F.L. McClain Football Stadium will allow 1100 home spectators and 400 visitors (band numbers count toward the capacity of 400) spectators to attend football games at Orangefield ISD held for the 2020-2021 football season. 

·         All spectators that do not have a pass or did not buy any pre-sale tickets, will purchase tickets at the gate.  Home spectators will enter the main gate and visitors will enter through the east side gate.

·         Entry to games will be first come first serve for all guests. Gates will be closed when maximum capacity is met.

·          Gate workers and concession workers will be self-screening for symptoms and be required to wear masks and gloves.

·          Gates will open and tickets sales will begin one hour before the scheduled event.

·         All spectators must self-screen prior to coming to an event at Orangefield ISD and will be required to wear a mask in the stadium, except when eating or drinking. Masks will be required at the concession stand.

·         Hand sanitizer will be available at entry areas and concession stands.

·         All spectators will practice social distancing all times in the stadium.   

·         After the game, spectators will be expected to leave the stadium immediately.  No spectators or students will be allowed on the field at any time before, during, or after the game. 

·         Spectator areas will be sanitized in preparation for each game or event.  Where social distancing is not feasible, other methods will be utilized to slow the spread of COVID-19, such as face coverings.

·         Due to COVID-19 concerns, students and young children should be with parents or guardians at all times.  Students and young children are expected to be in the stands when not at the restroom or concession areas accompanied by an adult.

·         No students should be dropped off at football games unaccompanied.

Visiting Teams Expectations

·         All visiting teams will be sent Orangefield ISD safety guidelines/expectations to share with their teams, school, and community before attending an event.

·         Please share with your community the capacity of our stadium.  

·         Varsity tickets will be sold by the visiting team during the week of the game.  The count of tickets sold will need to be sent to us by noon on Friday. We will sell the remaining tickets at the gate.

·         High School teams will park and unload buses on the northeast side of the stadium by the field house.  Football players, cheerleaders, coaches, and support staff will park and unload their buses in the same designated area.

·         Teams are expected to sanitize their equipment before arriving at Orangefield ISD. 

·         Visiting team/group locker rooms will be cleaned and sanitized before the visiting team arrives.  Visiting teams/groups are responsible for cleaning and disinfecting equipment once it is unloaded.  

·         Orangefield ISD will limit access to facilities to only students and staff essential for the game, contest, or event.

·         On completion of the game, players and coaches will leave the playing area immediately.  No spectators or parents allowed on the field after the game. 

·         Due to COVID-19 concerns, students and young children should be with parents or guardians at all times.  Students and young children are expected to be in the stands when not at the restroom or concession areas accompanied by an adult.
