Randy Weber U.S. House of Representatives from Texas's 14th district | Official U.S. House Headshot
Randy Weber, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 14th district since 2013, shared his views on several topics through a series of tweets on January 23, 2025. Weber has been serving in Congress after succeeding Ron Paul and has previously served in the Texas House of Representatives.
On January 23, Weber expressed his opinion about the Houthis by stating: "Rightfully so. The Houthis are a terrorist organization, and they should always be recognized as one. Thank you, President Trump, for standing firm on this."
Later that day, he commented on the interpretation of the 14th Amendment concerning immigration: "Here’s the truth: the 14th Amendment was never intended to serve as a blank check for illegal immigration. It was never intended to grant citizenship to the children of people who BROKE our laws to enter this country. End Birthright Citizenships."
In another tweet posted on January 23, Weber praised President Trump's efforts regarding border security: "The proof’s in the pudding, folks. In just a matter of days, President Trump was able to shut down illegal crossings and stop migrants from walking across our border like it’s a revolving door."
