How many Asian students were enrolled in Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD schools in 2022-23 school year?

There were 44 Asian students enrolled in Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 10% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD schools welcomed 3,340 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Asian students comprised 1.3% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD roughly covers schools within Orange County and has a main office in Orange.

Among the six schools in Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD schools, Lit Cypr-Mrceville High School recorded the highest enrollment of Asian students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 17 students.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
