There were 4,153 Hispanic students enrolled in Port Arthur ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 3.9% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Port Arthur ISD schools welcomed 8,152 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 50.9% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

Port Arthur ISD roughly covers schools within Jefferson County and has a main office in Port Arthur.

Among the 13 schools in Port Arthur ISD schools, Memorial High School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 1,000 students.
