24 schools across Orange County welcome 15,085 students in 2021-2022 school year

Test 09

Orange County enrolled 15,085 students in the 2021-2022 school year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

This is 314 more than the year before.

Orange County was ranked 59th in enrollment among Texas counties.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
