U.S. Rep. Randy Weber (TX-14) has taken a stand against the Biden Administration's actions regarding the transportation of illegal aliens into the United States. Along with 17 of his colleagues, Rep. Weber penned a letter to President Biden and Secretary Mayorkas, demanding answers about the reported charter flights that brought over 300,000 illegal aliens into the country in 2023.
In the letter, the lawmakers expressed their concerns, stating, "Given your complicity in the worst border crisis in American history, we should not have been surprised to learn that your Administration has created a new avenue for foreign nationals to distort our nation’s immigration process." They criticized the Administration for allowing illegal aliens to fly directly into American cities under the guise of "advance travel authorizations," which then leads to their release under the asylum parole program.
Rep. Weber condemned the actions of President Biden and Secretary Mayorkas, accusing them of bypassing the rule of law to facilitate the entry of unvetted illegal aliens into communities. He emphasized the national security risks and raised serious questions about the Administration's practices, stating, "We will hold their feet to the fire and demand answers for the American people." Rep. Weber made it clear that the secretive transportation of unvetted illegal aliens into American cities jeopardizes the safety of the American people and has no place in the country.
The letter was co-signed by several other representatives, including Byron Donalds (FL-19), Ralph Norman (SC-5), Diana Harshbarger (TN-1), and others, who are joining Rep. Weber in calling for accountability and transparency regarding the controversial charter flights of illegal aliens.
