On Wednesday, February 28, former Glenda Dawson High School standout Makenzie Wright’s current college team, the Lamar Lady Cardinals, won 6-2 in their NCAA Division I game against the Southern Lady Jaguars.

The game took place in Beaumont, Texas. This was their first matchup against the Southern Lady Jaguars this season.

The Lady Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 2 at 1 p.m. in Beaumont, Texas against Penn Quakers.
