Lamar University has emerged as a frontrunner in Texas for engineering and technology programs, according to a report released by Texas Crews. Industrial engineering and industrial technology were the only programs to rank first in first-year income and chemical engineering, electrical engineering, and civil and mechanical engineering all ranked in the top four for the lowest loan burden as a percentage of their one-year salaries among all Texas universities.
