How many Asian students were enrolled in Beaumont ISD schools in 2022-23 school year?

There were 461 Asian students enrolled in Beaumont ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 5.5% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Beaumont ISD schools welcomed 16,730 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Asian students comprised 2.8% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Beaumont ISD roughly covers schools within Jefferson County and has a main office in Beaumont.

Among the 28 schools in Beaumont ISD schools, West Brook Senior High School recorded the highest enrollment of Asian students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 133 students.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
