On Friday, March 8, former Sulphur High School standout Scott Jones’ current college team, the Lamar Cardinals, won 7-3 in their NCAA Division I game against the UMBC Retrievers.

The game took place in Beaumont, Texas. This was their first matchup against the UMBC Retrievers this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 9 at 5 p.m. in Beaumont, Texas against UMBC Retrievers.
