How many Asian students were enrolled in Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD schools in 2021-22 school year?

There were 40 Asian students enrolled in Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 4.8% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD schools welcomed 3,233 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Asian students comprised 1.2% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD roughly covers schools within Orange County and has a main office in Orange.

Among the six schools in Little Cypress-Mauriceville CISD schools, Lit Cypr-Mrceville High School recorded the highest enrollment of Asian students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 14 students.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
