WOODVILLE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT: New Guidance from the Texas Education Agency

Texas

Woodville Independent issued the following announcement on March 27.

We have received new guidance from TEA regarding home-based learning and grading. As we have continually stated, this is an ever-evolving situation requiring us to make changes as we go.

We need to put in place a way for students to be able to turn in completed work so teachers can grade and give appropriate feedback. There are several options to do this and it will vary depending on students grade level/type of assignment.

  • Take a picture or scan the paper and send by text or email
  • Turn in papers at one of the meal delivery sites to school personnel
  • Drop off at the Administration Office between 8:00 am and noon, Mon. - Fri.
As teachers make contact with students next week, they will be discussing what will work for each student individually and help guide them in making that happen.

Please make sure student's name, grade level and teacher's name is on each assignment/paper.
