A Federal Credit Union out to do good for Southeast Texas donated $105,000 to different organizations.
The DuGood By Giving is a special enterprise formed by the DuGood Federal Credit Union, which, according to KJAS, works to bring a positive change in the society and create stronger communities by helping out all the segments of the society.
The DuGood Federal Credit Union has decided to donate $105,000 to 27 charity organizations operating within the Southeast Texas area. These include various rehabilitation and pet rescue organizations; organizations working to assist pregnant women and new-born children; groups and associations working for orphaned children; children of low-income groups; children’s hospitals; and various food banks.
DuGood FCU was created 10 years ago and has donated more than $1 million to different segments of the community.
Our intention is to give back to the community,” Jada Kelly, CEO of DuGood FCU, said while explaining their motto.
