Brian Babin, U.S. Congressman representing Texas’s 36th district, has recently posted a series of statements on his social media account, addressing topics ranging from historical reflections to constituent services and political commentary.

On September 4, 2025, Babin commented on the impact of American soldiers in World War II and referenced current world leaders: “Couldn’t agree more! Without the sacrifice of hundreds of thousands of American soldiers, the world would now be speaking Japanese and German instead of Chinese and Russian. Putin and Xi Jinping—you both are thankless. God bless America! https://t.co/ZZ0ORtlxcM”.

Later that day, Babin announced upcoming mobile office hours for constituents: “Come see us! My office will hold mobile office hours on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, in Jasper and Silsbee. Let us know how we can help you! https://t.co/1x9TFKZaPN”.

On September 5, 2025, Babin offered commentary regarding public reactions to Senator Kennedy: “Funny how the people mocking @SecKennedy are the same people who wore masks alone in their cars and can’t tell you the difference between men and women.”

Brian Babin has served as a U.S. Representative since first winning election in 2014. He has consistently secured reelection by wide margins over multiple cycles—defeating Michael Cole in 2014 with 76% of the vote; Hal Ridley Jr. in 2016 with nearly 89%; Rashad Lewis in 2020 with almost three-quarters of votes; Dayna Steele twice (2018 with nearly 73%, and again in 2024 with over two-thirds); and Jon Haire in 2022 with nearly seventy percent support.
