Randy Weber, a U.S. Congressman from Texas, posted several comments on his Twitter account in early August 2025 responding to statements made by an unnamed Secretary and addressing political discourse.
On August 2, 2025, Weber wrote, “Exactly. Why isn’t it? World: wake up!…rw”. Later that day, he commented in response to the Secretary’s remarks with “True facts, Mr Secretary!”.
The following day, on August 3, 2025, Weber added another post referencing Democratic colleagues: “Good point Mr. Secretary! I only hope our Democrat friends are paying attention…rw”.
Weber has served as a member of Congress for multiple terms. In the most recent election in 2024, he defeated Rhonda Hart with nearly 69% of the vote. He also won previous elections against Mikal Williams in 2022, Adrienne Bell in both 2020 and 2018, Michael Cole in 2016, and Donald Brown in 2014.
