Randy Weber, who has represented Texas’ 14th district in the U.S. Congress since 2013 and previously served in the Texas House of Representatives, recently addressed several topics related to energy policy and legislative developments through a series of posts on social media. Weber, a Pearland native and University of Houston–Clear Lake graduate, shared updates on his work and views regarding national energy infrastructure and current legislative debates.

Also on July 10, 2025, Weber discussed his appearance on the Pipeliners Podcast with Russel Treat. He wrote: “Had a great conversation with Russel Treat on the Pipeliners Podcast about my Next Generation Pipeline R&D Act, the future of U.S. energy, and how Texas is leading the charge. We’re pushing for safer, smarter, and more reliable energy infrastructure. Take a listen!”

On July 11, 2025, Weber commented on ongoing political discourse regarding proposed legislation known as the One Big Beautiful Bill. He stated: “Democrats are lying about the One Big Beautiful Bill. This bill helps working families, not billionaires. And unlike the Left, we’re actually securing the border and standing up for law and order.”

Weber has served as a member of Congress since succeeding Ron Paul in 2013. He was born in Pearland in 1953 and currently resides in Friendswood.
