Randy Weber, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas’ 14th district since 2013, shared updates on social media concerning recent legislative developments and judicial actions. He succeeded Ron Paul in Congress and has been actively involved in state politics since his tenure in the Texas House of Representatives from 2009 to 2013.

On July 9, 2025, Weber expressed his gratitude for first responders at the First Responders Salute event held in Texas City-La Marque. He stated: “Honored to join the First Responders Salute in Texas City-La Marque. Grateful for our police, fire, and sheriff’s departments, and had the chance to talk with a few officers about the new NO TAX on OVERTIME law.” The congressman noted that the officers were enthusiastic about this new legislation.

Later that day, Weber announced on social media that the “No Tax on Overtime Pay” legislation had officially become law. In his post he wrote: “It’s Official: No Tax on Overtime Pay is LAW More money in the pockets of: Police Nurses Plant & trade workers Truckers Factory crews Custodians Postal workers …and more.” This policy aims to provide financial relief to various sectors by eliminating taxes on overtime earnings.

On July 10, 2025, Weber commented on judicial matters involving former President Trump. He criticized an unelected judge’s decision as overstepping authority by stating: “Another unelected, activist judge thinks they can override the will of the people and block President Trump again. Despite the Supreme Court slapping down nationwide injunction abuse, this liberal judge is trying to play king from the bench.” Weber argued that such actions threaten constitutional integrity.

Weber was born in Pearland, Texas in 1953 and currently resides in Friendswood. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston–Clear Lake.
