Randy Weber, a U.S. Congressman representing Texas’ 14th district, has shared his views on various issues through a series of tweets. Having served in Congress since 2013, Weber replaced Ron Paul and previously served in the Texas House of Representatives. He was born in Pearland, Texas in 1953 and currently resides in Friendswood.

On June 4, 2025, Randy Weber expressed gratitude towards DOGE for identifying inefficiencies within the federal government. He emphasized that it is now Congress’s responsibility to take action by passing Trump’s $9.4 billion rescissions package to benefit American taxpayers and future generations. “Thank you to DOGE for rooting out the waste, fraud, and abuse buried deep in our bloated federal government…We must pass Trump’s $9.4 billion rescissions package for the sake of hardworking American taxpayers & future generations.”

Later that day, Weber extended a welcoming message to constituents visiting their offices on Capitol Hill with a brief tweet stating: “Welcome to YOUR House and Offices. We WORK for y’all!” This reflects his commitment to serving his constituents.

On June 5, 2025, Weber announced legislative progress regarding energy policy via a Twitter thread titled “Wins for American Energy in the One Big Beautiful Bill.” The bill aims to reduce waste and eliminate stringent energy mandates while empowering producers and workers within the industry. “THREAD: Wins for American Energy in the One Big Beautiful Bill…puts YOU—the producers, builders, and workers—back in charge.”

Randy Weber graduated from the University of Houston–Clear Lake with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1977.
