Randy Weber, U.S. Congressman from Texas, posted a series of statements on X in October 2025 regarding recent developments in the Middle East, focusing on the release of hostages and the implementation of a peace plan involving Hamas.

On October 13, 2025, Weber wrote, “The world will NEVER forget that dark October day when evil struck our greatest ally. Now, 738 days later, we witnessed HISTORY. The hostages are free. Families are reunited. Remains of loved ones are coming home. Evil LOST. Faith WON. God bless the peacemakers “

The following day, he commented on actions taken by Hamas after the signing of a peace agreement: “Before the final ink was even dry on the peace agreement, Hamas initiated public executions. They are evil, untrustworthy, and MUST be disarmed. That’s why Phase 2 of @POTUS’ peace plan calls for disarming Hamas. You can’t take terrorists at their word. We need nations to stand https://t.co/KcdAVpjdek”

He also shared a link for further information: “Read more here:

Randy Weber has represented Texas in Congress for multiple terms, consistently winning re-election since 2014. In the most recent 2024 general election, he defeated Rhonda Hart with nearly 69% of the vote. He also secured victories against Mikal Williams in 2022, Adrienne Bell in both 2020 and 2018, Michael Cole in 2016, and Donald Brown in 2014.

Weber’s statements reflect ongoing concerns in U.S. foreign policy regarding security in the Middle East and efforts to address terrorism through international cooperation and peace agreements.
