Randy Weber, U.S. Representative for Texas’s 14th congressional district, posted a series of statements on July 28, 2025, addressing American energy production and recent executions in Iran.
In his first post of the day, Weber expressed support for domestic energy initiatives and credited former President Donald Trump for economic growth in Southeast Texas. Shortly after, Weber condemned executions carried out by Iranian authorities. Weber has represented Texas’s 14th congressional district since winning his seat in the general election against Donald Brown in 2014. He has consistently secured re-election over subsequent cycles—defeating Michael Cole in 2016; Adrienne Bell in both 2018 and 2020; Mikal Williams in 2022; and Rhonda Hart most recently in 2024.
