Randy Weber, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 14th district since 2013, has shared several updates on his Twitter account. Weber succeeded Ron Paul in this position and previously served in the Texas House of Representatives from 2009 to 2013.
On May 22, 2025, Randy Weber addressed a tragic incident involving two Israeli Embassy staff members who were killed outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C. He described it as “a vile act of evil” and emphasized the need to confront antisemitism head-on, asserting a moral obligation to stand against all forms of hatred.
Later that day, Weber expressed optimism about legislative progress with a tweet stating, “We are about to get it done and pass the historic One Big Beautiful Bill!” This announcement highlighted anticipation for significant congressional action.
Following this development, Weber confirmed the passage of what he termed the “One Big Beautiful Bill.” In his words, “We just passed the One, Big, Beautiful Bill…a bold, historic step to get America back on the right track.” The bill includes historic tax cuts, real border security measures, and reductions in wasteful spending. He concluded by calling it “A good day for America.”
Randy Weber was born in Pearland, Texas in 1953 and currently resides in Friendswood. He graduated from the University of Houston–Clear Lake with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1977.
