Orangefield Independent School District enrolled 1,781 students in the 2024-25 school year, a 1.5% decrease from 1,809 the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Among the student body, 51.3% were boys and 48.7% were girls.

Data also showed that most of the students were white (1,473), representing 82.7% of the district’s total enrollment. Hispanic students were the second-largest group, totaling 212 students (11.9%).

The grade level with the highest enrollment was ninth grade, with 167 students enrolled that year, accounting for 9.4% of the total student body.
