Brian Babin, U.S. Representative from Texas, commented on recent events involving violence at the Dallas Detention Facility and criticized Democratic Party policies in a series of posts on September 24, 2025.

In his first post of the day, Babin addressed the incident at the detention facility: “The violence targeting our brave ICE agents and the chaos that unfolded today at the Dallas Detention Facility is unacceptable. I’m praying for all who were involved and grateful for the courageous first responders who rushed to help.” (September 24, 2025)

Later, Babin responded to another post by expressing criticism of Democratic leadership: “100% correct. This is the radical Democrat Party’s ‘America last’ agenda on full display.” (September 24, 2025)

In a third post that day, Babin shared an additional link without commentary: “https://t.co/KuFupXu0Zw” (September 24, 2025).

Babin has served as a member of Congress since winning his seat in 2014. He has consistently secured re-election by significant margins against various opponents over several election cycles: defeating Michael Cole in 2014 with 76% of the vote; Hal Ridley Jr. in 2016 with nearly 89%; Rashad Lewis in 2020 with almost three-quarters of votes; Dayna Steele twice—in both 2018 and most recently in 2024—with over two-thirds support each time; and Jon Haire in 2022 with similar results.
