Brian Babin, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 36th district since 2015, has made several public statements through his social media account. These statements focus on immigration policies and their impact on national security and American citizens.

On June 2, 2025, Babin expressed his concerns about a recent anti-Semitic attack, attributing it to “reckless immigration policies.” He noted that “A radical Islamist overstayed his visa and was allowed to stay” in the country. Babin emphasized the need to address fraud and sanctuary laws which he believes endanger Americans.

Later that day, Babin criticized the Democratic Party’s voting patterns, stating they vote against beneficial policies for Americans. In his words: “They’re not hurting Trump – they’re hurting you.”

Additionally, Babin described Leftist immigration policies as more than just poor governance but also as a threat to national security. His statement reads: “The Left’s immigration policies aren’t just bad policy, they’re a national security threat.”

Brian Babin was born in Port Arthur, Texas in 1948 and currently resides in Woodville. He graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1973.
